You are invited to attend the Porcelain Painter’s Paradise Instructional seminars from September 21 through October 1, 2010.
Two 4 Day Seminars
The school is located at the beautiful Dobson Ranch Inn and Resort in Mesa, AZ. Situated on 10 acres, this site is convenient to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Scottsdale galleries, and numerous golf courses, making it the perfect setting for work and pleasure. Student will enjoy comfortable air conditioned accommodations, gracious dining and large, well-lighted classrooms. In addition, the pool, jacuzzi, laundry, and exercise facilities complete the package.

If you must cancel due to illness or emergency, your payments (less deposit) will be credited to the following year’s event. CANCELLATIONS AFTER AUGUST 15, 2010 WILL NOT BE CREDITED.

The hotel has a total of 210 non-smoking rooms, 82 are ground floor rooms, all of which have been newly remodeled. The hotel is located at the southwest corner of Dobson Road and US 60. Extra hotel nights must be arranged through the school treasurer. We encourage accompanying guests or spouses.
Lodging
For each session, the $740. Tuition includes five nights lodging with double occupancy, full breakfast, lunches, afternoon snacks, dinners, welcoming and closing banquets, 4 days instruction with one teacher, firing of china evening demonstrations, registration packet, and airport transfer. If your spouse or guest is accompanying you, in addition to the reservation fee, there is an added increase of $185. per session, which includes only breakfast. Spouses and guests will have the opportunity to purchase meal vouchers upon arrival. As an extra option, a private room is $160. more per session.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is 13 miles from the Dobson Ranch Inn. Free Shuttle service is provided for hotel registrants. Plan to arrive before 3:00PM on the day of registration. The registration and orientation is between 3:00-5:00.
Airport Arrivals
School Store
Classes are limited to 10 students. Although every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice, there are times when this is not possible. If alternate choices are not listed, you will be placed in a class which has openings. Confirmations and additional information are sent upon receipt of student registration. You may wish to bring your personal light, extension cord, chair cushion, and camera (for classroom use only). No photos are allowed in the classrooms without the permission of the individual teacher.
Class Size
Teachers are encouraged to bring their art for display so that all may enjoy. The display is open to the public. No photos are allowed in this area.
Display
The store will have a complete inventory of china supplies as well as teacher inventories. Students must purchase the pre-ordered class pieces, and only china from the school store will be accepted for firing. Turpentine, alcohol and oils will be available for purchase for those who will be flying in. Extra firings will be recorded and charged $1.00 per piece/per day. Dallas China will be in charge of the Market Place.
